Is My Power Supply Enough for an RTX 5070Ti Upgrade?

Hey everyone! I'm planning to upgrade my PC for better VR gaming, and I need some advice. My current setup includes a BM-450M-A motherboard, an AMD Ryzen 3 3200G processor, and a GTX 1070Ti graphics card. I'm looking to get a Ryzen 7 5700X processor along with an 850W 'Be Quiet!' System Power 10 power supply (model Bn330). Will this setup work well with the RTX 5070Ti? I've heard some scary rumors about power supply issues with NVIDIA cards, and I want to make sure I'm making a safe choice.

850W is definitely enough juice for your system with the 5070Ti and 5700X! You could even get away with a 750W and be fine. About the burning cable rumors, those were mainly associated with the 5090 series. I haven't heard anything bad about the 5070Ti—it actually uses less power than you'd think!

You might want to go for the Ryzen 7 5800X3D instead of the 5700X for better performance. But don't worry, your 850W power supply is plenty for handling the RTX 5070Ti.

I recently built my rig with the same 850W Be Quiet! PSU and paired it with the 5070Ti and a 9800X3D. No issues at all on my end! You should be good to go.
