Is My Power Supply Good Enough to Upgrade to an RTX 5070ti?

I'm considering upgrading my GPU from a GTX 1660 Super to an RTX 5070ti on my current setup. Here's what I've got: Ryzen 7 5800x CPU, a B550 Aorus Elite Pro AX motherboard, and I'm using a be quiet! Shadow Rock TF2 cooler. My power supply is a be quiet! Straight Power 11 750W Platinum. I'm worried if my PSU can handle the new GPU, especially in terms of mounting and any other factors I should keep in mind. Any advice would be appreciated!

I get where you're coming from, but since your PSU is rated ATX 2.x and not 3.x, I would personally be cautious. But on a Tier List, it ranks highly, so it should be okay overall.

Your PSU should handle the RTX 5070ti just fine, as long as it has the right PCIe power connectors. The maximum peak wattage is around 360W for the GPU, and your CPU's TDP is 105W, so you're in a good spot power-wise.

Just a heads up, the RTX 5070ti needs around 300W, so some think you might want a bit more than what you have. 850W could be safer.

If your PSU isn't ancient, you might want to think about an upgrade every few years for safety's sake. Just my two cents!

Yeah, most PSUs offer a 10-year warranty, so they might last longer than you expect.
