Is My RAM Compatible with My Motherboard?

Hey everyone! I recently bought parts for a new PC build, but I've heard some concerning rumors about compatibility issues between my RAM – the Patriot Viper Venom 32 GB DDR5 6000 MHz CL30 kit – and the GIGABYTE B850 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 motherboard. I'm also using a 9800x3d CPU, so I'm a bit worried about this. Have any of you used this combo, and can you share your experience, whether good or bad? I'm considering swapping the RAM for Kingston if it turns out to be a problem. Thanks for your help!

Don't stress too much! The Viper Venom kit supports both XMP and EXPO, so you should be able to get the performance you want without issues. Sure, Kingston RAM might be good too, but since you already have the Vipers, I say stick with them and enjoy your build!

Let’s hope that’s the case! I guess I’ll find out once I finish building it. 🙂

Who mentioned the compatibility issues? Was it from a website or something you heard in a store?

I came across some negative comments on a Facebook group dedicated to PC builds. People were saying they had boot issues and experienced failures after a few months. It made me a bit uneasy since I've never really checked RAM and motherboard compatibility before.
