Is My RTX 5060 Being Bottlenecked by My CPU?

I recently received an RTX 5060 8GB as a gift, and I'm using it with an Intel i5-9400F processor and 16GB of RAM. I'm concerned that my CPU might bottleneck the performance of my new graphics card. Should I be worried about this, and if so, what can I do about it?

For around $150-$250, you could upgrade to a faster CPU and motherboard that supports PCIe 4. That would definitely help if you're looking for higher FPS at 1080p, since your current CPU could bottleneck the RTX 5060.

Would the Ryzen 5 5600 be a good choice to pair with this GPU?

Just play your games and enjoy. Don’t get too caught up in worrying about bottlenecks—it often only becomes an issue when you notice it in performance.
