Is My Ryzen 3700X Enough for a 5070 TI Upgrade?

I'm currently using a Ryzen 7 3700X on the AM4 platform and playing games at 1440p. I want to upgrade my GPU to a 5070 TI, but I'm curious if my 3700X will be powerful enough or if I would experience significant bottlenecking. I'm looking to stick to AM4 since RAM prices are high right now. There's a deal for a 5800XT at $200, but I'd prefer an X3D chip, though those are out of production and expensive. I'd appreciate any advice you might have!

You could try running your current setup and see how it performs. Prices for non-X3D AM4 CPUs should drop soon, as people are looking to upgrade to DDR5. I recently snagged a 5600X, a motherboard, and 32GB of DDR4 for just $230 on Facebook Marketplace. If you're patient, you might find a good deal too!

That's a great deal! What motherboard and RAM did you end up getting?

Yeah, I feel like I'm kinda on the edge, where there might be a bottleneck but it won't be terrible. I’ll update this post later with my findings for others in a similar spot.
