Is my Ryzen 7 5700 good enough for 3D rendering, or should I upgrade to a Ryzen 9 7900X?

I recently bought a pre-built system and I'm gradually upgrading it. Right now, I have a 4060 Ti GPU which works fine for me, but I'm concerned about my CPU performance for 3D rendering in Blender. I'm mainly focusing on creating photorealistic images and animations. I'm contemplating upgrading to a Ryzen 9 7900X since it's available at my local Best Buy. Is my Ryzen 7 5700 sufficient for my needs, or do I really need to make this CPU upgrade?

Honestly, if you're already using the 4060 Ti for rendering, you're in good shape! The GPU will usually outperform the CPU for these tasks. If you're running into performance issues, then it may be worth considering an upgrade, but you might not see significant gains switching to the Ryzen 9.

That makes sense! I just wanted to ensure my CPU isn't holding me back, but I guess my GPU is taking most of the load. Appreciate the advice!
