Is My Ryzen 7 7800X3D Really Going to Bottleneck My PNY Verto OC 4080 Super?

I recently got my hands on the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU and the PNY Verto OC 4080 Super 16GB graphics card. I followed a reputable build guide on PC Part Picker, but when I checked some bottleneck calculators, they all showed that my CPU would significantly bottleneck the GPU. I'm wondering if these calculators are accurate or if I should take their results with a grain of salt.

Honestly, those bottleneck calculators aren't reliable at all. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is one of the fastest gaming CPUs out there, so it can handle whatever GPU you throw at it without significant issues. Forget about the calculators; they often give misleading results.

Bottleneck calculators are not something you should trust. The reality is, there's always some form of bottleneck in a system, but with your specs, the GPU will likely be the limiting factor, not the CPU. So you should be all good for getting high FPS!

Thanks for the reassurance! I was really worried about that.

Exactly! Just focus on getting the best out of your GPU. Your CPU is a powerhouse!

Yeah, bottleneck calculators are pretty much useless. If they say the 7800X3D will bottleneck your GPU, they're wrong. In fact, it's one of the best CPUs you can buy for gaming. Your setup should work fine!
