Is My Samsung SSD Legit or Fake?

I just purchased an SSD from the Samsung store on Amazon, but I'm feeling a bit paranoid about its authenticity. The label isn't perfectly straight, and the sticker seems to stick out a little. Can anyone reassure me that this is normal and that my SSD isn't counterfeit? Also, I can't check it with any software until my other PC parts arrive, so any advice would be great!

It's pretty common for SSDs to arrive with the labels a bit crooked. As long as you bought it directly from the Samsung store, you're likely in the clear. Just be sure to plug it in and check it with tools like CrystalDiskInfo once you have everything set up!

It was from the Samsung store on Amazon, so that helps. Good to know that crooked labels can happen!

Once you’ve got everything built, try using Samsung Magician to check the SSD. I bought a returned one too, and it wasn't recognized at first, but Samsung's tech helped me out. It’ll show the serial number to verify it!

I appreciate the advice! I guess I just need to wait for the other parts to arrive.

Looks fine to me. It's not unusual for stickers to not be perfectly aligned. Even some review samples have that issue!

Thanks for the reassurance! That eases my mind a bit.

That packaging looks legit to me! Samsung has very distinctive packing. Did it have a lot of paper documents taped to the bottom?

Yeah, there was a lot of tape at the bottom with paperwork. Didn't expect that from Samsung.
