Hey everyone! I recently got a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE from eBay, but I noticed that one side of the base plate has some deep scratches, and it looks like one area is peeled back a bit. I'm worried about whether this will affect its performance. Do you think it's still usable, or should I send it back? I've attached a link to the images so you can see for yourself. Thanks!

I think it looks good to go! It's a bummer to receive something damaged, but as long as the cooler's base isn't warped, you should be fine.
I can't see the pics you mentioned, make sure to upload them to Imgur and share the link here. Also, what CPU are you planning to use it with? Did you buy it new or used?
Hey, I checked out the pictures. Honestly, if the scratches aren't too deep, it should be fine! Returning it might be a hassle compared to just using it as is. Most likely, it won’t affect performance at all.
