I recently upgraded my GPU from a 2070 Super to a 7800XT, along with increasing my RAM from 16GB to 32GB. However, I've noticed a drop in my Dota 2 FPS, going from 90-100 down to 70-80 without Frame Generation. My system specs are a 750W PSU, a Ryzen 3700X CPU (which I believe isn't bottlenecking since it's at about 50% utilization while gaming), and a 144Hz monitor. I'm really confused about why my performance seems lower with this new upgrade. Is the 7800XT not a significant upgrade over the 2070 Super? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

You mentioned that your CPU is at 50% utilization, but that doesn’t always mean there isn’t a bottleneck. Try playing a more GPU-intensive game. You might see a larger performance difference between the 2070 Super and the 7800XT then!
Have you wiped your graphics drivers with DDU and then installed the right ones for your new GPU? Sometimes, old drivers can cause performance issues after an upgrade.
I checked and the pairing is supposedly around a 5% bottleneck, which shouldn’t be a problem at 1440p, right?
