Hey everyone! I've been working from home almost full-time lately, and I've noticed that my webcam quality is really poor. I'm using an Ausdom AW615, which I picked up cheaply on Amazon. The video looks grainy and doesn't match the quality of what I see from others during calls. Before I spend money on a better webcam, I'm wondering if the issue lies with the camera itself, my computer's graphics card (I have a GTX 1660), or something else in my setup. My internet speed is decent too, with 41 Mbps download and 21 Mbps upload. Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Honestly, you got a cheap webcam and you're noticing it shows. It might be a good idea to clarify what you mean by 'poor' though. Can you describe what’s wrong with the video quality?
I'm pretty sure it's the camera that's the problem. If you're looking to upgrade, I’d recommend getting something in the $100 range for a noticeable difference.
Thanks for the advice! Any specific models you suggest? I prefer something that won’t break the bank, but quality matters.
Yeah, you really do get what you pay for with webcams. A decent one typically starts around $100. It’s worth investing in something that’ll make video calls look good.
The picture quality is definitely low and grainy. It looks like a video from my old phone, not like the crisp clarity I see in other webcams.
