Is My Windows 11 Corrupted? Here’s What I’m Experiencing

I've been dealing with some strange issues on my Lenovo Legion Pro 5 lately, which is about two years old and has a 4050 GPU and Ryzen 5 CPU. Everything was running smoothly until yesterday when my laptop suddenly slowed down. Here are the problems I've noticed:
- Logging in takes longer than usual.
- The start key and taskbar aren't functioning properly, but I can still use some shortcuts.
- The News and Weather app has disappeared from the taskbar.
- Opening settings is really slow, and when I try to check for Windows updates, I get an error that says, "Something went wrong. Try to reopen settings later."
- Lenovo Vantage won't open immediately, but it does start up eventually after the laptop is turned on. When I try checking for updates through it, it starts but never finishes.
- I can open Nvidia, but checking for driver updates runs into the same issue as Vantage.
Although Chrome and most games are working fine, I ran a system file check (sfc /scannow), and while it found and repaired some corrupted files, the issues continue even after restarting my laptop.

It sounds like your hard drive might be failing. You should find out the brand and model of your SSD, then download the appropriate diagnostic software to test it and see if that's the problem.

What type of boot drive are you using, SSD or HDD? If you're unsure, it might be worth checking out this video: [Watch Here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBCiMK4AmEI) for some insights.

You might want to try performing an in-place upgrade through Windows Update. It's like resetting your Windows without losing any personal data or programs. It might help fix those issues you’re facing without a complete reinstall.
