Hi everyone! I'm currently assembling my first high-end PC and I've encountered a problem with PCPartPicker's compatibility filter, which is preventing my selected PSU, the XPG Kyber 850W, from showing up. I've already bought all the necessary components, so I'm not looking for alternative suggestions—just need confirmation about this specific PSU compatibility.
Here's what I have:
* **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
* **CPU Cooler:** Deepcool LE720 85.85 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
* **Motherboard:** Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX ATX AM5
* **Memory:** Kingston FURY Beast RGB 32 GB DDR5-6000
* **Storage:** Kingston NV3 2 TB NVMe SSD
* **Video Card:** Asus PRIME OC Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB
* **Case:** NZXT H6 Flow ATX Mid Tower
* **Power Supply:** XPG Kyber 850W 80 PLUS Gold

The problem isn't a warning; it's that the PSU is just **not appearing** in the compatibility section at all. Can anyone confirm if the XPG Kyber 850W will work well with my setup? I want to ensure everything runs smoothly before I start assembling. Thanks for any insights you can offer!

The reason you're not seeing the XPG Kyber 850W in the compatibility filter could be due to the required cables for your GPU; sometimes those filters can be a bit finicky. I think you’ve chosen a solid PSU, but it's definitely worth double-checking those output specs to make sure everything lines up!
You might want to check if it’s truly compatible by looking at the specific pin requirements. The warning you saw might be related to lacking the necessary PCIe cables, especially since there’s been a shift with the 12vhpwr connector. Double-check the list link you provided to see if that could be the case!
I don't think you have to worry too much about it being strong enough. Even without checking, I’m pretty sure you’ll be fine with the XPG Kyber 850W; I use a similar PSU with my 5070Ti and it works great! Also, just a heads up, this unit has 2x 8-pin connectors (which are 6+2), so you should be good to go.
Just to confirm, it does have enough 6+2 outputs for your build!
