Is Now a Good Time to Build a PC?

Hey everyone! I'm looking to build my first PC and I've heard mixed things about whether now is a good time to start, especially with how pricey graphics cards are right now. I currently use a gaming laptop with a GTX 1660 Ti, and I really need an upgrade soon. I've put together some parts for a build centered around the RTX 5070 Ti. Here's my list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4Gpzsp. I'd really appreciate it if someone could take a look at my parts and let me know if it looks good or what I should change. Thanks a ton!

What’s the resolution and refresh rate of your monitor? The components you've chosen are solid, but if you're gaming at 1440p or higher, you might not see much difference between some components. Consider saving some cash on the CPU and investing in a nice monitor instead! Also, if you can, go for CL30 RAM over CL36 since they’re close in price and you’ll get better performance.

It can be a little tricky with the current prices. I’d recommend checking deals on motherboards; sometimes they come with free RAM. If you're looking for savings, try finding a cheaper storage option because the performance difference isn't noticeable. Also, I noticed your case only has one fan; maybe consider upgrading to one with better airflow like the Montech Air 903 Max or the Lian Li Lancool 207.

If you're in Australia, make sure to switch PCPartPicker to show prices in AUD for accurate comparisons. Prices can vary quite a bit depending on your region!

Oh, I actually haven’t changed it yet! I’ve been checking prices online in euros, so I guess that’s a good tip.
