I'm in the process of building my first PC and I've noticed that the market seems pretty shaky right now. I've already purchased RAM because that felt like a straightforward choice, but I'm curious about what other components I should prioritize buying and if there's any rush. Particularly, I'm considering whether I should get a GPU or an SSD sooner rather than later. Just a heads up, I'm a college student and I won't be able to build my PC until summer, so timing is a factor for me.

If you want to avoid issues down the road, buy your components as soon as you can. Just make sure you test them while you can still return them! That way if there's something wrong, you can exchange it before your return window closes.
Honestly, it’s not the best time to build a PC right now. Prices are really high, so unless you absolutely need a new setup for work or serious gaming, it might be better to wait a bit. But if a dedicated PC is a must for your studies or projects, then go for it!
Do you think prices will get better soon?
It's hard to say, but a lot of folks are hopeful things might stabilize in the next few months.

That makes sense! So I should buy everything and then just build it quickly?
