Is PCPartPicker Reliable for Fitting Components in an mATX Case?

I'm planning to downsize my build to a micro ATX case and wondering if PCPartPicker is trustworthy when it comes to fitting components. I already have everything except for the case, but I'm also unsure if I need to change the CPU cooler. Here's my current part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NGGpRV. Will I run into any issues fitting my parts in an mATX case?

From my experience, PCPartPicker is pretty accurate. Most of the time, it matches up with the manufacturer's specs, and they’ll adjust for popular components if the sizes are incorrectly listed. Just make sure to double-check the specs on the manufacturer's site for peace of mind.

It can be a mixed bag! For standard builds, it's generally reliable, but with adjustable cases, like some ITX or high-end ATX models, they don't always account for every possible configuration. For the A3-mATX, you should be fine as long as you don’t use a vertical GPU mount. But I’d steer clear of the Hyper H412R cooler; it might struggle with modern CPUs like the 7600X. Look into the Thermalright Assassin coolers - they’ll fit just fine! Also, if you go for a dual tower air cooler, consider getting RAM without RGB to avoid fit issues.

Thanks for the detailed response! I actually have everything in a larger case now but might grab one of those Assassin coolers before switching to the A3 since I know smaller cases can get warmer. I’m also looking into heatsinks for my NVMe SSD.

Totally agree! Configurations can really mess with compatibility. I’m planning to add support for adjustable cases to my build list too.
