Hey everyone! I'm working as a remote freelance video editor, but I'm looking to diversify my skill set to be more future-proof, especially with the rise of AI technologies. I'm wondering if it's a good idea to get into programming or software development in today's landscape. Do you think it's a wise move or too risky? My goal is to continue freelancing remotely and earn between $1500 and $2500 a month. I'm 31 years old and based in The Netherlands.

Some people believe AI will fade away, similar to previous AI winters. They argue that true human creativity can't be replicated. Focus on developing a solid skill set you can get really good at!
I don't think AI is taking jobs just yet. It really depends on who you ask. My advice? Look at the job market, see what skills employers are looking for, and assess whether you can learn those skills realistically.

True, but in the US, I think the job market is more complicated than just tech issues. There are broader factors at play.
