I'm curious about the value of the Linux+ certification in today's job market. Is it something worthwhile to chase, or would I be better off focusing on other certifications?

If you're using the Linux+ materials as a structured way to learn Linux, then go for it. But in terms of job prospects, I don't see many employers actively looking for Linux+ certs. The RHCSA or LPIC options are way more recognized and valuable in the field.
Honestly, I don't think it's worth it for most people. It seems like certifications are more for companies than for individual career growth. If you're looking to become a Linux sysadmin, there are better paths out there like the RHCSA. I wouldn't even bother adding Linux+ to my CV; it might even look worse than if you didn’t have it at all.
It really depends on your situation. If your current job is asking for it, then sure, get it. But if you're pursuing it just for personal growth, I’d say skip it. I've noticed that job postings tend to ask for LPI or RH certifications instead. Linux+ doesn’t come up as often.
