Hey everyone! I'm considering whether to go for 1080p or 1440p gaming. While I'm leaning towards 1440p, I think 1080p might be more practical given how games are evolving. I'm particularly curious about potential CPU bottlenecks with the Ryzen 7 5700X3D when paired with an RTX 5070 at 1080p. Do you think the bottleneck will be minimal? Also, 1080p is looking to be a more affordable option for me right now, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on this!

At lower resolutions like 1080p, you might see some CPU bottleneck because the games rely more on the CPU than the GPU. However, you’ll still get much higher FPS in games at 1080p. Personally, I’d suggest going for 1440p if you can, as it really enhances the gaming experience overall.
You make a good point! I’m also considering using my setup for media, so 1440p would definitely feel like an upgrade. But I've been stuck at 60 fps for years, so I’m torn between what’s best for gaming and future-proofing!
