Is Spending $500 on a Used 5060 Ti Worth It in 2026?

I'm thinking about purchasing a used Gigabyte 5060 Ti with 16GB of OC for $500. Is that price reasonable, or should I consider other used GPUs, like AMD options? Alternatively, would it be better to save up for a brand new card?

You might want to check out the RX 9060 XT 16GB, which is brand new and selling for around $400 to $420. It offers similar gaming performance to the 5060 Ti but is often a better deal, especially if you're not focused on heavy ray tracing. Just a thought!

Yeah, but remember, the 5060 Ti does perform better in games with heavier ray tracing. If that's important to you, it might be worth it to pay extra.

Honestly, for $500, I’d rather grab a used 3080 Ti if you can find one. It offers much better performance overall than the 5060 Ti.

Plus, if the prices are so close to new, you might as well go for new with a warranty. For example, new 5060 Ti 16GB cards start at around $515. If you consider the RX 9060 XT at $440, it's a solid choice as well.

So, would a Pulse 9060 XT for $400 be a good find?

For sure! That's a better deal if you're not into ray tracing.

If gaming is your main priority, you might want to consider a new RX 9060 XT. It's great for gaming and has 16GB, which should fit your needs well. The 5060 Ti is valuable for non-gaming uses like AI and video work but isn't the best purely for gaming.

I'm just trying to see if the $400 or $500 is justifiable for an upgrade, even if it is used.

Wait, what currency are we talking about here? I just saw new 5060 Ti cards listed for about $550. But if you’re getting used, consider if it really fits your budget!

It's definitely a used one I'm looking at. I want to avoid those extra taxes with new cards.
