Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my GPU and initially considered the 3070, but my PSU setup with a daisy-chained 2+6 pin cable isn't compatible. Now, I'm focusing on the 3060 Ti and the 4060, which have a price difference of about £15 ($20). I've seen benchmarks showing that the 3060 Ti performs better in some games, but the 4060 is the newer model with updated DLSS and frame generation features. I also plan to use Lossless Scaling. Given my 650w PSU and R5 5500, I'm wondering whether I should go with the 3060 Ti or the 4060. What do you all think?

I’d lean away from 8GB GPUs if possible. They can become obsolete pretty quickly as games demand more video memory.
If you’re sticking with Nvidia, consider the RTX 4070 instead. But if you want great performance, the RX 9060 XT with 16GB is a solid choice. Just make sure your PSU can handle it!
I'm curious why you're looking only at these two cards. Are you mainly concerned about pricing, or are there specific features you need?
Given your PSU can provide 225 watts total, I’d recommend the 4060 over the 3060 Ti. Yes, the latter might be slightly faster, but it’s older technology. The 4060 is the wiser investment long-term.
Honestly, if you can wait and save up a bit more, the 9060 XT 16GB is definitely better than both the 3060 Ti and the 4060. It outperforms them significantly!

Totally agree! If you can swing for the 9060, it's worth the investment.
