I just bought an EVGA 3060 Ti 8GB dual-fan GPU for $300 on eBay, although I know that's kind of steep considering the current market. I'm upgrading from a GT 750 Ti and hoping for a significant performance boost. My main concern is whether I should have considered a different card since I need something that fits in my HP's small chassis. I came across an MSI Shadow 2x OC RTX 5060 for $319 on Amazon, but I'm not sure if it's a better option. What do you think?

If you're in the US, you might want to check out some used options. For your budget, it's possible to find a 3070 Ti or even catch a new 4060 on sale. I recently picked up a 5060 Ti for about $340 and it's a solid card.
It sounds like you're overpaying for that 3060 Ti, especially with better newer options around $300. What's your maximum GPU length? You might be able to find more suitable cards in that price range if you look at used options.
Upgrading from a 750 Ti to a 3060 Ti is a solid leap. Just make sure your power supply can handle the new card, as HP often ships them with around 300W, which might not cut it for higher-performance cards.
Just a side note—paid too little attention, and I thought you meant 9600GT for a second!
You could have snagged a new 5060 for around $290 or even an RX 9060 XT for $310. Going for a used 3060 Ti feels like a downgrade to me, but good luck with your choice!
I decided to cancel the order after hearing this.
Given your size constraints, you might want to look at low-profile options like a 5050 or a 3050 instead. It's tough with that budget, but for $300, you might find a deal on a used system that fits your requirements better!
The B580 I looked at was too long, unfortunately. But I just found an MSI Shadow 2x RTX 5060 for $319 on Amazon.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll look into those options and probably cancel my order.
