Is the 5060 Ti a good upgrade from my GTX 1660 Ti, or should I look elsewhere?

I've been using my GTX 1660 Ti for about five years now, and I'm ready to give my PC a significant upgrade. I've seen some harsh criticism about the performance of the 5060 Ti on Reddit. Given my budget of $500 to $550, are there any better GPU options I should consider? I do plan on upgrading my CPU to match the new GPU, but I want to prioritize selecting the right graphics card first.

If you’re flexible with your search, try looking for an RTX 5070. I've seen it available around $550, which is a solid choice over the 5060 Ti, especially for gaming.

For $550, you're really in the 5070 territory. It's a better option, just ensure your PSU and CPU can handle the upgrade. Also, don’t forget to check your current specs to see if anything might bottleneck your performance.

Have you checked out the RX 7800 XT? It's been getting great reviews and actually outperforms the 5060 Ti while being in the same price range. Definitely worth considering!
