I've been on the hunt for a new GPU and I'm trying to decide between the 5070 and the 5070 Ti. Recently, I've seen the price of the 5070 drop to about $489, which seems like a great deal. However, I'm wondering if it's worth paying an extra $250-300 for the Ti version. While I know the Ti has better performance, I'm not sure if that extra cost is justifiable for me. What do you think?

You might want to consider the RX 9070 instead. It's only a little more expensive and has better specs across the board, including more VRAM, which could be beneficial for future games.
True, but keep in mind that AMD GPUs often have driver issues. Nvidia's drivers are typically more reliable, especially in newer games.
If you're looking for something cheaper, the RX 9070xt also delivers solid performance and could save you some cash. Just be aware that it might not perform as well in ray tracing or DLSS scenarios compared to Nvidia.
Yeah, but Nvidia's features are still pretty much preferred for productivity work, right?
That’s fair, but on the flip side, the 9070 performs better in raw rasterization.
At the end of the day, check the price-to-performance for your local market and see which card gives you the best bang for your buck. The 5070 might take the lead for value in some comparisons currently.
Good point! I’ve got to run some numbers based on FPS and cost in games I play.
And don’t forget, availability might get worse soon, so getting one now might be wise!
I love the 5070! It's been fantastic for my 1440p games. Can’t go wrong with it, and with potential updates for DLSS, it’s only going to get better.
Same here! I snagged mine for $470 and it’s outperformed my expectations!
I went with the 5070 for 1440p gaming, and I've been really happy! The Nvidia software like DLSS has made a noticeable difference for me, especially in performance. If you commonly play at lower resolutions like 1080p, the 5070 should work just fine.
Exactly! I’ve seen great benchmarks for it at 1080p. DLSS is a game-changer!

But isn't the performance difference only like 3% on average? I think it varies with GPUs and prices right now are a bit crazy.
