I'm trying to decide between the 5070 and the 5070 Ti. The 5070 is priced at $500, while the 5070 Ti is around $800. I'm primarily looking to upgrade because I'm playing hypermodded Skyrim with a whopping 4.6k mods, which is pretty taxing for my current 2070 Super. Both options would be a significant step up, but I want to know if the additional $300 for the 5070 Ti is justified given my gaming needs. I usually just play hypermodded games, total war strategy games, and sometimes Warframe and Cyberpunk, but that's about it. What do you think?

You should definitely consider the 9070 XT as well; it's pretty comparable to the 5070 Ti but costs less. I mean, if you're spending $800, you might as well look into other options too!
If you're gaming mainly at 1080p with upscaled textures for Skyrim, the 5070 is where you want to be. It's a solid deal at $500, and perfect for the games you listed. The 5070 Ti might be overkill unless you're going for some serious 4K play. Plus, with the 5070, you'll have money left over for other upgrades!
Exactly! And even if you try out 1440p for a couple of games, the 5070 should handle it just fine with high settings.
Honestly, for that price difference, the 5070 gives you way better bang for your buck. The 5070 Ti is only about 20% faster but prices are 60% higher, which doesn’t make sense. I have a similar setup with a 5700X3D and the 5070, and it's perfect for 1440p gaming!

That was on my radar too! Just worried about AMD drivers after hearing some horror stories.
