Is the 5070 Ti a Better Choice than 9070 XT for DLSS 4?

I've been researching graphics cards and found that the 5070 Ti and the 9070 XT seem quite comparable. The 9070 XT appears to offer better price-to-performance, but I'm curious if the 5070 Ti justifies its higher price due to Nvidia's technology. I read that FSR 4 might be on par with DLSS 3, but I'm not very knowledgeable about this area. Also, I've noticed on Newegg that the price difference between these two cards can range between $100-$200. What do you all think?

The choice really hinges on how much more you’d be paying for the 5070 Ti. If it's only a small increase, like around $100, it could be worth it. But if you’re looking at something more like $200, I’d lean towards the 9070 XT. Many games can run great without needing upscaling, and FSR 4 is really impressive, though DLSS 4 is more widely supported. You likely won’t notice a big difference while actually gaming, unless it's ray tracing where the 5070 Ti does have the edge.

Honestly, for a $200 difference, I'd have to say skip the 5070 Ti. For around $100 more, it might be a reasonable upgrade. The 5070 Ti excels in ray tracing and has DLSS 4, which is superior to FSR 4, but if you're limited by budget, the 9070 XT is a solid choice. Just ensure you’re not overpaying.

For a $100 premium, definitely go for the 5070 Ti; its ray tracing is just better. Beyond that, if it's $200, I'd say go for the 9070 XT—a better deal for more casual play without needing all the latest tech. Just keep your future goals in mind, especially if you're looking towards more demanding titles.

If you’re in the $100+ range for the 5070 Ti, it starts to feel worth it simply for future-proofing. But if you find the 9070 XT for a significantly lower price, it's a great card too. Just remember that features like better driver support seem to tilt the scale slightly in AMD's favor.

The performance difference between the two can really depend on what you're playing. If it’s something like ray tracing, the 5070 Ti pulls ahead, but it’s not a night-and-day difference unless they're similarly priced. If the price gap is larger, like $200, stick with the better value of the 9070 XT.
