Is the 7800x3d a good match for my RX 9060 XT?

I just inherited my brother's old PC, which has an RX 9060 XT 16GB graphics card, but he took his CPU with him for his new build. I was initially thinking about buying a 9600x CPU, but now I'm considering whether the 7800x3d would be a better fit. I plan to upgrade my GPU again in the future, likely when the next generation from AMD comes out. Is this combination alright, or is there a risk of the GPU bottlenecking? I'm not worried about budget.

Why not consider something like the 7500f or 7400f? You could upgrade both the CPU and GPU later on without spending too much right now.

Hey, seriously, don’t wait! Grab the best parts available now. Companies are slowing down on CPU production for consumers, and who knows how long that’ll last.

Honestly, forget the term 'bottleneck.' Many people use it without really understanding it. The 7800x3d will work just fine with your GPU; you might not utilize all of its potential in games, but everything will run smoothly regardless. In every PC setup, something will hold performance back, and in this case, it might just be your GPU, which is actually a better scenario.

Thanks for reassuring me! I'm still getting the hang of PC building, and I keep hearing about bottlenecks, so I wanted to make sure it wouldn’t be a big deal.

Exactly! Discussions about bottlenecks were more relevant ages ago. Today's CPUs are pretty close in performance, so you shouldn’t stress too much about it.

Dude, you're mixing high-end hardware with bottleneck concerns. Just go for the 7800x3d and don’t worry about it too much!
