Hey everyone! I'm putting together a PC for 2K gaming and can't decide between the 9600X and the 7800X3D. There's about a $110 difference between the two processors. I'm running an RX 7900 XT OC with 16GB right now and want to make sure my setup lasts a long time. Is it worth spending more on the 7800X3D? Thanks!

It really depends on the games you're into. For the most part, the 9600X will do just fine and you might not see a huge difference with the 7800X3D since your GPU could be a bottleneck. However, some games like Battlefield and certain strategy titles can take advantage of more cores.
I’d say go with the 7800X3D. Just make sure your other components are solid too. It’ll keep your system relevant for longer!
Definitely go for the 7800X3D! It’s a significant upgrade over the 9600X, and for just $110 more, I think it’s worth it. Just a heads up, though—avoid ASRock motherboards if you can.
