Is the 9800X3D a Good Choice for CPU-Intensive Gaming with a 5070?

I recently got the 9800X3D because I mainly play CPU-intensive games and noticed that the 7800X3D had a similar price point in my country. I'm wondering if this was a solid choice or if I'm going to experience significant bottlenecking that might ruin my gaming performance?

You're good! Your GPU will mainly dictate your performance, so it shouldn't bottleneck with that setup. Just enjoy your games without worrying about the CPU side of things.

No worries! I also dive into CPU-heavy games like CS2 with my setup, which has a 3080 and the 7800X3D, and I face zero issues. You should be fine!

It could work for CPU-intensive titles. If you mostly play those games, the 9800X3D will help you out. Just remember, if you dive into GPU-heavy games, then you might hit a bottleneck. Also, thinking about resale value? Balancing your build typically helps more than going for a specialized one.

I usually play competitive games like Valorant and Escape from Tarkov, which are GPU-heavy. Resale isn't a big deal for me. Do you think the GPU bottleneck will impact me much?
