Is the 9800X3D a Good Upgrade for 1440p Streaming?

Hey everyone! I'm currently using a 9600X with a 5070, but I'm struggling to stream even at 720p on Discord. I usually drop below 60 FPS while playing with friends, which is pretty frustrating. I'm considering upgrading to a 9800X3D to see if it helps with 1440p streaming. Is this a good option, or are there better alternatives out there?

Honestly, your internet connection plays a big role here. If you're running a 1Gbps line and still experiencing drops while streaming, it might not just be the CPU holding you back. Your 9600X should be fine for what you're doing. Have you looked into optimizing your stream settings? Maybe check if there's too much bandwidth being used elsewhere while you're gaming.

Yeah, I’ve noticed similar FPS drops. It’s tough when you think your hardware is the bottleneck, but sometimes it’s just network issues or settings misconfigured.

You might want to consider going for a 9900X instead. It offers strong performance and should handle streaming better than your current setup. Plus, it may be more future-proof for gaming and streaming needs.
