Is the 9800X3D Worth the Extra $150 for 1440P and 4K Gaming?

I've got both the 7800X3D and the 9800X3D, and honestly, the 7800 is a powerhouse. For most gamers, it does everything you need without breaking the bank.

For higher resolutions like 4K, your GPU will do most of the heavy lifting, so you might want to save the cash and put it towards a better graphics card instead of going for the pricier CPU.

I chose the 9800X3D mainly because of the improved 3D cache, which means it's less likely to burn out. The extra performance is nice, but I also wanted a build that would last for years without needing upgrades. If you're building for the long term, it’s worth considering.
