I'm considering upgrading my PC from an Intel Core i5-9400F with an RTX 3060 and 16GB of RAM to a new setup that includes an AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, ASUS GeForce RTX 5070 Prime 12GB, 32GB of RAM, and other parts. I have a few questions: 1. Are the components I picked good and worth it? 2. Should I wait and get the RTX 5070 Ti instead, or buy the 5070 now? I'm planning on buying a 7 9800X3D in the future, but I only use two 1920x1080 displays. 3. Are there any components I could change to save money while still getting similar performance? I'm feeling the pinch from tariffs!

If you're planning on staying with 1080p, just go for the 5070. The Ti will give you better performance but at a higher cost, especially considering the tariffs where you are. It seems like you don't really need that extra power right now!
Exactly! You should save the extra cash for something else, or even hold off a bit longer until prices drop.
If you're worried about price, stick with the 5070 for now and consider upgrading to the Ti later if you find a good deal. Also, don't hesitate to look into alternatives for the components on your list to save a bit. Sometimes, different brands offer similar performance for less!
That’s good advice! I’ve seen some builds with different brands that perform just as well, but for a lower price.
Water cooling can seem daunting, but there are great air coolers if you're not comfy with maintenance aspects!
If you're primarily gaming at 1080p, the RTX 5070 should be more than adequate. The 5070 Ti is great for 1440p, but if you're sticking with 1080p, you might be over-investing. As for your build, check out some PC part lists to make adjustments that could save you some cash without sacrificing performance!
Have you checked out local price comparisons? Sometimes bundles can save you a lot. I got lucky with deals on some components.
Totally agree; focus on what you actually need now. If you're not upgrading your screens, save the budget on the 5070!
Yep, the tariffs make it tough. Focus on getting the most value out of your current setup!
