Is the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X a good choice for my setup with a GTX 1660 Super?

I'm looking to upgrade my aging PC and need some advice. Currently, I have an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super 6GB, which seems decent for the games I'm playing, but I'm uncertain about its performance. I'm considering upgrading my processor because my current one isn't very good, though I don't even know what it is! I've been eyeing the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X with a 3.7 GHz speed. Do you think this CPU would pair well with my existing graphics card? Should I invest in a new graphics card as well, or is my current one sufficient?

If you're on an AM4 motherboard, the Ryzen 9 5900X is a solid choice, especially for gaming. However, if you're finding that the performance with your GTX 1660 Super is lacking, it might be time to consider an upgrade for your graphics card as well. The 5900X will definitely give you a performance boost, but it's important that your GPU can keep up, too!

Good to know! I'm also curious if there's a specific GPU you'd recommend that pairs well with the 5900X.
