I'm considering getting the Apple Vision Pro for my son, who will be starting 6th grade. I might homeschool him, but he may also continue with public school. Money isn't an issue, and I'm curious if this device could enhance his learning experience. I'm open to questions or feedback, so feel free to chime in!

Could you share more about how you plan to use it? It's hard to give advice without knowing what you think the Vision Pro would help with. That might change some opinions around here!
I wouldn't go for the Apple Vision Pro, honestly. It's super pricey and still feels like it's in the early adopter phase. You might want to wait for a couple of versions to come out and see if the prices drop. Plus, there are other great options out there that are more kid-friendly.
What?! I’m 48 and even I wouldn’t buy one for myself, and I love Apple products. It just seems like a lot for a kid, you know?
Honestly, I think the Apple Vision Pro isn't really necessary for a kid. I'd recommend looking into something like the Meta Quest instead. It's a lot more affordable and has a great mix of learning apps and games. Sure, the Vision Pro might have a bit better tech, but for a sixth grader, I don't see a strong reason to invest in such an expensive device.
