I'm considering getting the Arctic Freezer 36 because it looks great, runs quietly, and is budget-friendly. But I'm wondering if it's adequate for cooling a Ryzen 5 9600X. Will it handle my CPU well without any issues?

Yeah, it shouldn't be a problem at stock settings since the CPU has a TDP of 65W. However, if you're thinking about overclocking, then it might struggle a bit because of the small die size on that chip.

I don't plan to overclock, so I think I'll go with the Freezer 36.

Most coolers can handle a 9600X without issues. Since its PPT is only 88W, you’re pretty safe with this cooler. It’s a solid choice for a budget build!

Absolutely! The Arctic Freezer 36 should work just fine for your Ryzen 5 9600X, especially if you're using it at stock speeds. No worries there!
