Is the Arctic Freezer II 240 AIO Cooler Good for a 5800X/5700X3D?

I'm considering the Arctic Freezer II 240 for my build with either the Ryzen 5800X or the 5700X3D. Does anyone know if it's adequate for keeping these CPUs cool? I can't quite remember the TDP-to-mm ratio for these models. Also, I've got another question for you all: if the AIO cooler has been sitting in its box for a few years and hasn't been used, is it still good to go? Do I need to worry about changing the fluid? I did replace the plate with the kit they sent me since it was part of a recalled batch.

Yes, the Arctic Freezer II 240 should work just fine for those CPUs. It has a decent cooling capacity and should keep your temps in check.

I’ve got the Arctic Freezer II 280mm AIO running with a 5800X and it’s performing great! Temps are solid. Might want to check the airflow in your case too, though.

Sounds good! How are the temps looking on your setup?
