I just picked up an Asus Prime 5080, but it seems to have blown a fuse or something. I'm having a tough time finding another one, but I noticed the OC version is more readily available. I'm curious if there are any quality improvements in the components themselves or if it's just firmware differences that set them apart.

Honestly, both versions are pretty much identical. The only real difference with the OC version is that it has slightly higher clock speeds. It's just a marketing strategy to charge a bit more, so don't stress too much about it unless the price difference is tiny.
The components are the same, but the OC version has slightly better silicon which can help with manual overclocking and undervolting. If you see both versions at a similar price, the OC could be a better deal since it might allow more performance tweaks.
The OC version essentially comes factory overclocked, so you might see better performance right out of the box compared to the standard model. If you can grab it without breaking the bank, it could be worth it.
