Is the AZ-104 Exam Harder Now?

I passed the AZ-104 exam back in 2023 with just one year of IT experience, studying for about six evenings using Microsoft Learn. I barely scraped by, and there were two labs and a lot of questions about storage types. I feel like I got lucky, but I also forgot to take the renewal exam. Now, a lot has changed, and I need to retake it to qualify for the AZ-305 this year. Has the exam become more challenging? Are there more labs or different topics I should expect? Thanks for any insights!

It's interesting to see someone with a year in IT passing when others struggle. Just remember, experience doesn't always equal knowledge. It really depends on the projects you've worked on and how much exposure you've had to the actual tools. I've seen people with loads of experience fail fundamental stuff just because they were overconfident. So keep that in mind as you prepare for the retake!

Totally agree! Sometimes a fresh perspective is more beneficial than years spent in a limited role. Best of luck with your studying!

To be honest, I think the exam has gotten tougher with more complex scenarios. Make sure to dig into those labs, as they can really throw you for a loop if you're not prepared. If you're retaking it, maybe try some practice exams too. They can help get you in the right mindset. Good luck!

Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely look into practicing more with real scenarios.

Good advice! I did a few practice tests, and they were super helpful in pinpointing where I needed to focus.
