I'm planning to upgrade my PC and have chosen to stick with DDR4 memory. Unfortunately, there aren't many motherboard options available where I live, so I ended up with the B760 Gaming X, which is a mid-range board. My main concern is whether its VRMs will be sufficient for the i7-14700K. I do have liquid cooling in place. I'm mainly going to use this setup for gaming, so I want to make sure everything will run smoothly.

You won't be able to overclock the i7-14700K with the B-series motherboard, but that's not a dealbreaker for everyone. If you're considering a good CPU for your needs and want to save a bit, check out the non-K or F variants—they might be cheaper. And definitely don't forget to update the BIOS immediately or risk damaging the CPU!
As long as you update the BIOS to the latest version right away, you shouldn't run into any major issues. Just make sure to do this because not updating can lead to serious problems with the 13th and 14th gen CPUs.

Yeah, as long as the CPU works well, I'm okay with it, but I’ll look into the stock versions too.
