I'm looking to find out if the Cooler Master Hyper 212 works well with the Ryzen 7700. If it's not suitable, what other options from Cooler Master or Be Quiet would be good?

While the Hyper 212 will get the job done, there are some other options that might be even better. The Peerless Assassin SE V3 can handle higher power CPUs comfortably and runs quietly because it doesn't need to ramp up the fans much. Just keep in mind that the V3 might not be available everywhere, so check your store!
Yes, the Cooler Master Hyper 212 will do a decent job and actually performs better than the stock Wraith Prism cooler that comes with the Ryzen 7700. Since the 7700 has a lower power draw, any 120mm tower cooler from either brand should work just fine, although they might not be as effective on the new AM5 platform compared to coolers from other manufacturers.
The Hyper 212 is a solid choice right now, especially at the sale price of just $22! But if you're looking for something more efficient, you could go for a cheaper single 120mm option from Thermalright or ID Cooling.
I picked up a Ryzen 7700 for around $160 during the summer—such a great deal for the specs! The Hyper 212 can cool it well, and in a pinch, even a small desk fan aimed at it would keep it cool enough. If you're thinking ahead to upgrade to a hotter CPU later, consider getting a Peerless Assassin for better thermal performance without breaking the bank.
There are definitely better budget options out there! However, if you're limited to Cooler Master and Be Quiet, then the Hyper 212 will work. Just be aware that it's often priced similarly to some much better coolers, so shop around.

I wish I could grab one, but it's not in stock at my go-to store.
