Is the Corsair HX850 Power Supply a Good Choice for Future Upgrades?

I'm currently using a low-quality power supply, specifically the Antec Atom 650W, with my RX 7600 XT 16GB GPU. I'm thinking about upgrading to the Corsair HX850, which is an 850 Watt, 80 PLUS Platinum Certified, Fully Modular PSU available in the UK. Will this be a solid option, especially if I decide to upgrade to the RX 5070 later on?

The HX850 is actually a great choice! It's reliable and has excellent efficiency ratings, which makes it a smart long-term investment for future GPU upgrades. If you're aiming for the RX 5070 later on, this PSU should provide plenty of power.

While Corsair is a well-known brand, many argue that their products can be overpriced. If you're looking for a solid alternative, check out the Montech CENTURY II 850W. It's fully modular and offers great performance without breaking the bank. Just keep in mind, it might not be available everywhere, so confirm its availability in your region.
