I'm currently building a PC primarily for productivity and a bit of gaming (thinking about playing The Finals and Apex Legends). Here's my setup: [link to PCPartPicker list]. I found a Corsair Vengeance 96GB 6000MHz CL36 kit on Amazon for $249.99. Given that upgrading from my current RAM would be an extra 32GB, and considering that most RAM out there is priced around $100 more, does this seem like a good deal? Are there any hidden downsides I should be aware of?

Honestly, I think it's a terrible deal. The Corsair RAM is CL36, but what you already have is CL30. Ideally, you want the lowest CL rating possible for better performance; something like CL30 or CL32 is usually best.
I'm a bit confused about your exact needs. How much RAM do you really require for your productivity tasks? And don't stress too much about the CL difference; you probably won't notice it in day-to-day use. Just make sure your board supports the RAM you're looking at. Have you checked the compatibility list?
I actually think it's a decent deal considering the current market. For gaming, though, you might want to look for RAM that runs at CL60 at 6000MHz, as that's what most AM5 chipsets handle well.

I mainly work with 3D software like Maya, Blender, and Houdini, plus some video editing. I think 64GB is okay for now, but I might need more soon. As for compatibility, the QVL lists a CMK96GX5M2E6000C36, but not a CMK96GX5M2E6000Z36. Should this worry me?
