I found out today from our Dell representative that the Dell Dual Charge Dock (HD22Q) we were planning to standardize has been discontinued. This dock was great and priced around $60, but now the nearest alternative is almost $230! I'm looking for other recommendations for docking stations that fall into a similar price range.

I remember when the E-Port docks were so reliable. Those port replicators were built to last, unlike the newer models. It's a shame we won't see anything like that again.

True! The distinction between docks and replicators used to be significant, but nowadays it seems like they all just blend together. The older D/E-Port docks were practically indestructible!

That price you saw for the HD22Q was likely a clearance during Christmas. The best option at a similar price now is probably the WD19S, which can be found for around $150 if you keep an eye out.

Yeah, I've seen the WD19S pop up on sale sometimes. It's not as cheap, but it's still better compared to the higher-tier models.

It's really disappointing! They were clearing out stock quickly, and I even had one catch fire recently! I tried to reorder, but it's like they switched to new models overnight and the old one is completely gone.

Honestly, I don't think there are any good docks in that price range from any vendor. We usually opt for dock monitors like the U2724DE or Thunderbolt 3/4 docks instead since the USB-only ones just don't cut it anymore.
