Hey everyone! I'm a freelance web developer and I've been getting into DevOps because it looks really interesting. Before diving in too deep, I'm curious about the job market for DevOps positions. Is it in a good place, or is it feeling a bit flooded like web development does at times? Any insights you all have would be hugely appreciated!

Right now, junior DevOps jobs are pretty tough to find, but if you're looking for senior positions, there's more available. It's definitely not as oversaturated as web development, so that's a plus!
The demand for DevOps and Kubernetes is growing at about 20% every year! There are plenty of jobs, many of which are remote and come with great pay. It's true that junior roles can be few, but networking can really help. Check out platforms like Kubecraft, they’re great for making those connections!
DevOps isn't as saturated as web development, which is a relief. If you have solid project experience, you can definitely break into the field. Just focus on building a good portfolio! 🙌
Any tips on what kinds of projects to work on?
Yeah, I've been seeing that too. Junior roles are competitive, but there's hope!
