I received an RMA offer from Gigabyte for my faulty RTX 3060 Gaming OC (triple fan). They're offering the RTX 4070 Windforce OC (dual fan) as a replacement. It's a significant performance upgrade, but I'm concerned about the cooling and build quality. I work with 3D animation and DaVinci Resolve, so I need something that can handle long rendering sessions without overheating. Is taking this replacement a wise choice?

You'd be crazy not to accept it! It's a solid upgrade in performance. The cooling issues aren't really a big deal; most cards are similar unless you have special requirements. I'd say go for it!
This seems like the best RMA upgrade since EVGA stopped making cards. Even if the cooling isn't the best, you can limit the power usage to match your old GPU and still gain efficiency.
Totally worth it. The 4070 is an efficient card, and I wouldn't worry about the cooling design at all. It should handle your workload just fine.
Why is this even a question? Worst case, if you don't like it, you could easily sell it for a good price.
