Is the Green Light on My Motherboard Normal Even Without an OS?

Hey everyone! I'm a first-time builder and I just put together my Asus TUF x670e plus motherboard. I've double-checked all my connections and everything seems to be in order. I can access the BIOS, my keyboard and monitor are working fine, and the fans are spinning, but I noticed the 'boot' LED is still lit up. Should I be worried about this? Is it normal if I haven't installed an operating system yet? Thanks for any help!

What model motherboard do you have? Some boards keep a light on just to show they’re powered up. Congrats on your build, by the way! You're doing great!

Thanks a lot! My motherboard is the Asus TUF x670e plus. The manual mentions that lit LEDs indicate an error, which confuses me since everything else seems fine.

Did you get around to installing an operating system? That can often resolve boot LED issues since the board might just be indicating it’s not yet able to boot without one.
