I'm currently using an Intel i5 12400F and planning to purchase an RTX 5070. I'm wondering if this combination will create any bottlenecks and if it can handle gaming at 1440p resolution. Any feedback would be appreciated!

If you're in the US, consider looking at the RX 9070 instead. It tends to perform better and comes with 4GB more VRAM for similar pricing. But if you're sticking with the 5070, you're still in a good spot, so no worries there!
Your setup will be decent, although the CPU is a bit weak for long-term use at 1440p. It'll do fine for now, but keep an eye on future upgrades!
Got it! Any other CPU or GPU recommendations for better performance?
The i5 12400F and RTX 5070 should work well together! You shouldn't face any major bottlenecks, and it should handle 1440p gaming just fine. Go for it!
Thanks for the reassurance!
Just to share, I've been running a 12600K with an RTX 5070 for six months, and it performs great. I'm using a Z690 motherboard with no issues whatsoever.
Nice! Do you play Cyberpunk with that combo?

Thanks! I prefer NVIDIA cards, but I'll check out the 9070 to compare price and performance.
