I installed the latest security update (KB5077181) on my laptop and after the restart, I've been experiencing stuttering problems while gaming. This isn't related to FPS or ping; it directly started after the update. I attempted to disable full-screen optimization (FSO) for the game, which seemed to help. However, I didn't have to disable it before, and the game ran smoothly. I've noticed that with FSO disabled, the volume bar doesn't appear over the game anymore, which indicates I used to have it enabled. The stuttering isn't so severe that it's unplayable, but it's definitely rhythmic and pretty annoying. Has anyone else dealt with this issue after installing the update and is there a possible fix? I'm using Windows 11 Pro 25H2, Build No: 26200.7840.

I'm experiencing the same issue with games stuttering after that update! It's frustrating. I have a solid setup, yet I'm still seeing these problems. I play FFXIV at 60fps and it shouldn't be stuttering at all with my specs. It seems like this update has caused a lot of problems for many of us.

I know, right? I can't even uninstall the update to fix it!
