Hey everyone! I've been hearing a lot of negativity around the new Macbook Neo, but I'm considering it because it's quite affordable. I need a replacement for my Macbook Pro Touchbar (16GB). I only use my laptop a couple of weeks a year to work on presentations, do some coding, and access remote desktop while traveling without internet. My old Macbook has had issues like poor battery life, noisy fans, and no updates anymore. Given my limited usage, I'm trying to decide if investing in a 512GB Neo is the right choice for my needs.

I think it all depends on what you need. The Neo is great for lightweight tasks, but it might not hold up if you're doing heavy work. If you want something more robust, you might want to look at the Macbook Air instead, but it sounds like the Neo would suit your use case well!
I haven't seen all this hate you're talking about. Most reviewers have actually praised the Neo for its design and performance, especially for light tasks. If you're just using it occasionally, it sounds like a perfect fit for you!

What makes the Air a better option in your opinion? I only use my laptop for short periods, so I'm a bit hesitant.
