I recently got an Asus ROG STRIX Z890-A GAMING WIFI motherboard, which has an additional EPS 8-pin power connector. However, my power supply, a be quiet! System Power 9 700W, doesn't support this connector. I know it supplies extra power, and I'm wondering how critical this is for my build. Would my PC run fine without it, or should I consider buying a new power supply? Here's my PC build list if it helps!

Honestly, if you're investing around $1400 on your setup, you might want to rethink using a budget PSU. It’s better to have a reliable power supply to avoid potential issues down the road. Consider upgrading to something with an EPS connector to ensure stability, especially since you're using an Intel Core Ultra 7.

I totally get that! Just to clarify, I only need to upgrade the CPU, motherboard, AIO cooler, and RAM since my old motherboard fried. For now, I’m still using my 1660 Super for a couple months before switching to the new video card.
